SUMMARY:Garlic Mustard Pulling
DESCRIPTION:We will be holding a number of garlic mustard pulls mid-May. We have held two already and hopefully the third one will be the last. This will be held on Saturday, May 18.\nGarlic mustard is an invasive species that out-competes our native plants like trilliums and trout lilies, and actually puts out a chemical from its roots that prevents other plants from growing. It is therefore necessary to pull it before it seeds which occurs in early spring.\nWe are looking for volunteers to help pull these weeds.
