Garlic Mustard Pulling

We will be holding a number of garlic mustard pulls mid-May. The first one will be held on Saturday, May 11 and more will be conducted at dates to be determined.

Please check back for additional dates.

Garlic mustard is an invasive species that out-competes our native plants like trilliums and trout lilies, and actually puts out a chemical from its roots that prevents other plants from growing. It is therefore necessary to pull it before it seeds which occurs in early spring.

We are looking for volunteers to help pull these weeds. If you are interested and available, please send an email to:

to register.
