Garlic Mustard pull

We will be holding a number of garlic mustard pulls on the following days:

Saturday, April 29

Wednesday, May 3

Sunday, May 7

Garlic mustard is an invasive species that out-competes our native plants like trilliums and trout lilies, and actually puts out a chemical from its roots that prevents other plants from growing. It is therefore necessary to pull it before it seeds which occurs in early spring.

We are looking for volunteers to help pull these weeds. If you are interested and available on any of these days, please send an email to:

to register.
