Garlic Mustard pull
We will be holding a number of garlic mustard pulls near the end of April and early May. Dates to be confirmed as it always depends on the spring weather and how much the garlic mustard has grown.
Please check back for actual dates.
Garlic mustard is an invasive species that out-competes our native plants like trilliums and trout lilies, and actually puts out a chemical from its roots that prevents other plants from growing. It is therefore necessary to pull it before it seeds which occurs in early spring.
We are looking for volunteers to help pull these weeds. If you are interested and available, please send an email to:
to register.
