Garlic Mustard pull

This is the second of three garlic mustard pulls we will be having. The last one will be held on Sunday, May 7.

Garlic mustard is an invasive species that out-competes our native plants like trilliums and trout lilies, and actually puts out a chemical from its roots that prevents other plants from growing. It is therefore necessary to pull it before it seeds which occurs in early spring.

We are looking for volunteers to help pull these weeds. If you are interested and available on either of these days, please send an email to:

to register.
